After 20 years working in a corporate environment, I knew I wanted to put my experience to work in a different way. Throughout my career, I most enjoyed solving problems, improving how work gets done, and helping turn plans into action. Today, I bring that experience to entrepreneurs & small businesses as an Online Business Manager (OBM).
About Me
My background spans operations accounting, team leadership, project management, product management, and technology. Throughout my career, I've often been the person looking at how things work, figuring out what needs attention, and finding ways to make them more efficient.
Working across operations and software gave me an appreciation for both the people doing the work and the processes and tools supporting them. I've seen how much difference it can make when responsibilities are clear, information is accessible, and the way work is done actually makes sense.
As an accredited Online Business Manager (OBM), I bring that perspective to my work with small business owners. I combine a big picture understanding of how a business operates with a hands on approach to solving problems and getting things done. I believe in finding solutions that fit the business, rather than adding complexity for the sake of it.
When I'm not working
I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two Boston Terriers, who may be small but are definitely full of personality. I also enjoy exploring new places, trying new things, and continuing to learn along the way.
I'm particularly interested in technology and enjoy digging into new tools to understand what they can do. I'm continuing to build my knowledge of AI and explore how it could help small businesses work more efficiently.
